Member asks what kind of expenses the club incurs each month? Dennis Racine explains that it depends on the number of matches each month, wins and losses and food for home matches.

Dan Brown says, “You should bowl more Dennis”! 

Dennis Racine explains we don’t have enough people for away match vs High Sierra on August 15-16th due to the fair.  Match will be rescheduled. 

Dennis Racine states that he has brought copies of the By Laws, schedule and new members packet if any members would like a copy. 

Karen Busse moves to accept, Gay Clayton 2nds.

New Business 
Dennis Racine discusses making changes to the By Laws. 
1) Lowering the member cap from 60 to 50 members.  

Dennis states that members who need to become inactive for a period of time can then become active when ready, without having to be voted back in.  Members who quit will need to be voted back in if they choose to rejoin. 
Vicky Winters asks what the pros and cons are for lowering the cap. Dennis Racine states lowering the cap makes it more likely for members to bowl more often.

All in favor of lowering the cap from 60 to 50 - PASS

2) Raising the late fee from one dollar to two or five dollars.

Vicky Winters questions if five minutes late, especially for away matches would be excused.  Dennis Racine states that if you call and say you’re going to be 5 to 10 minutes late with a valid excuse, late fee may be waived, but not if it becomes a habit.  15 minutes is unacceptable.  
The board agrees that members should have phone numbers for each board member.  Members can call if running late or for any questions. 
Darren Chan explains that it’s a lot more work for the Board when members are late and not knowing if they are going to show up. Many changes have to be made and finding a replacement if necessary. 

First of two votes for late fee - 
1) All in favor of raising late fee - PASS
2a)All in favor of raising late fee to $2 -FAIL
2b) - All in favor of raising late fee to $5 - PASS

Dennis Racine states the need to order more 200 pins. Explains it’s a large expense for the club, approximately $600-$700 but the last order lasted approximately 8 years.  
Dennis asks club if we should order same pins or choose less expensive pins. Club agrees on same pins as it looks nice and represents the club well! 
John Berlinn approves, Karen Busse 2nds. 

Denise Chan asks Dennis Racine to announce next year‘s No Tap Tournament.  It is scheduled for February 6, 2027. Check in at 12 PM. Bowling starts at 1 PM.

Tammy McCrary asks members if they are bringing food, if they can come a little earlier than the 30 minutes required stating the opposing clubs are showing up as much as an hour early.
